Nazuna: ...... But just saying that out of the blue, you probably don't understand what I mean. Here, I'll explain it as it happened.

There's actually an event soon at my university for recruiting new students to join clubs.

Every year, all the clubs are super enthusiastic about recruiting students, y'see~

Last year it was like a small-scale school festival, so it was super fun~ ♪

Hm? You asked which clubs I ended up joining?

For the time being, I joined the tennis club, 'cause I participated in Yumenosaki's tennis club when I was there.

That said, we're not serious about it to the point of entering in lots of competitions or anything.

It's more like a suuuper relaxed club where you can just come to the courts and do a little rallying if you feel like it.

I actually wasn't able to participate a lot last year because I was so busy with getting used to university life, as well as our idol work.

But, y'know, even if it's been a while since I've participated, they always easily welcome me, so I'm really grateful ♪

"So the tennis club is holding a recruitment event", you said......? Oh, no no!

I told you it's a pretty lax club, right? I mean, we're part of the recruitment even, but we're not doing anything that crazy.

Well, even having said that, it seems like there's definitely a fair amount of people that end up joining......

Oops, I went off topic, huh.

What's been on my mind is the choir group that one of my friends belongs to.

To be honest, for that choir, the number of people seems to be decreasing every year.

Since this year's graduating fourth years are currently job hunting, they're not participating, so there's pretty much nobody left right now.

There's some worry that if they can't get first-years to join, the club'll disappear completely.

That friend of mine has also helped me out lots in college, you see~?

Any time I couldn't make it to class because of work, they shared their lecture notes with me, for example.

It's not like I'm returning the favor completely, but...... if I can lend a hand, I'd like to.

Where did the "rock" part come from, then, you said?

Aah~...... Originally, "should I join in and help with your recruitment event?" is what I offered.

I mean, I am an idol after all. I thought I'd be able to attract at least a little interest from first-years.

They were pretty happy about that, but it's not like I'd be in the club from that point on.

We thought it might cause some misunderstandings, so we scrapped that idea.

I listened to their situation, and...... It seems like my friend thinks there's a reason concerning the songs they sing not attracting much attention.

It sounds like every year there are people that are interested and come check the choir out......

And it seems like a lot of the kids that are interested come because they like to sing, but......

Our school choir is pretty orthodox, so they take singing hymns super seriously.

Since they only ended up singing songs they weren't familiar with, it looks like a lot of the kids thought "this is different than what I expected, huh~" and quit pretty soon after.

That's why right now, the current second and third years are thinking, "wouldn't it be fine to sing songs from a wider range of genres?".

Apparently, in the past, they've discussed doing that with their seniors, but......

"Since we've never changed our customs, changing them now may be a bit......" is what their seniors seemed to think.

Around that time, my friend told me they saw Parallel World's various "Ra*bits" possibilities.

When they saw an image other than the usual cute Ra*bits, it looks like they wondered if something like that might be good for the choir too.

If the choir sings songs other than their usual hymns with the members they have now, they may be able to show a new side of themselves.

However...... That said, if the choir that's only ever sung hymns suddenly starts singing different genres, seems like there's some apprehension about it being seen as strange.

So when I was worrying over a means to ease that discomfort, even just a little, I just subconsciously said it.

"What if Ra*bits participated in the event as a guest and sang a completely different type of song from their norm...... Like, how about something like a rock song?" ... Is what I said.

That way, people will think that for this year's recruitment event, both the choir and Ra*bits purposefully chose songs out of their comfort zone because they wanted to sing them, right?

I thought it wasn't a bad idea, and they were super happy when I brought up helping them out.

...... But, well. When I tried to tell the kids in Ra*bits, I suddenly got super anxious.

Just as soon as we decided to work hard again as our usual cute Ra*bits, here I come with "let's do a rock Ra*bits!"......

At this point, I'm seriously regretting saying that without thinking about it too much, ugh~!

What does everyone in Ra*bits say, you asked?

...... I still... haven't told them anything.

Because it's tricky to talk about, okay~!

During Parallel World, our fans all gave us a confirmation that Ra*bits' weapon is our cuteness.

And yet, now we'd suddenly be trying out a rock Ra*bits. It's kind of contradictory to me.

Depending on how you look at it, couldn't it be seen as a proposal to change direction even after everything......?

Thinking about it like that, time passed without me being able to discuss it with them.

Eh? What do I wanna do?

I'd like to help my friend out, is what I'm thinking.

I hear a lot of stories about the choir from them, so I don't feel like it's just someone else's problem. They tell me the choir's really precious to them, too.

...... I don't like just sitting and watching someone lost a precious place where they feel like they belong, so.

"In that case, I think it'd be all the more important to discuss with everyone in Ra*bits", huh......

I know. I know that, but still~......

Yeah. When the next time I see them comes, I'll be brave and ask them for their thoughts.

I didn't get any answers worrying about it all by myself, so. I don't want too much time to pass and miss my chance to help out.

...... Thanks for listening to me, Anzu.

"Don't forget to discuss with them", you said? ...... I got it, I got it, okay!
